The inaugural Nepal Premier League (NPL) has concluded with Janakpur Royals emerging as the champions after a thrilling final. The team secured the title, along with a prize of 1 crore 10 lakh rupees. Sudurpashchim Royals, who finished as runners-up, took home 51 lakh rupees.
In addition to the team awards, individual players were also recognized for their outstanding performances throughout the tournament:
- Champion: Janakpur Bolts (1 crore 10 lakh rupees)
- Runner-up: Sudurpashchim Royals (51 lakh rupees)
- Third place: Karnali Yaks (25 lakh rupees)
- Fourth place: Chitwan Rhinos (15 lakh rupees)
- Fair Play Award: Lumbini Lions
- Most Fours in the Tournament (35): Lahiru Milintha (2 lakh rupees)
- Energetic Player of the Tournament: Jimmy Neesham (2 lakh rupees)
- Emerging Player: Bipin Prasad Sharma (50,000 rupees in cash, 10 lakh rupees worth scholarship)
- Best Bowler: Lalit Rajwanshi (Ultraviolet F77 motorcycle)
- Best Nepali Player: Dipendra Singh Airee (Amoda E-5 DLX electronic car)
- Siddhartha Bank Player of the Tournament: Saif Zeib from Sudurpashchim (5 lakh rupees)
The Fair Play Award was presented to Lumbini Lions for their exemplary sportsmanship during the competition.
The closing of the NPL marks the successful debut of the tournament with being first Winner of NPL – Janakpur bolts, highlighting the rising cricket talent in Nepal and the growing excitement around the sport in the region.
